CGW STOCKHOLM was established in 2017 to bring the discreet yet stunning elegance of Scandinavian design to the eyewear industry. We design our frames in our studio located in the heart of Stockholm. We are an independent genuinely global company, employing expertise wherever we find it and cooperating with entrepreneurs from all over the world.

But truly great design does more than merely pleasing the eyes – Great design is functional. Hence, all our products are designed to provide the best fit for you. Our plan is the union of the human frame and current outline, bringing about an easily fitting yet bewildering outline.

We wanted to create a design that is stunning while still bringing out the uniqueness of every face – a design that stands the test of time. Inspired by the renowned Wayfarer of the 1950s we combined the the vintage look of the 1950s with the defining elegance of modern Scandinavian design. From the restrained minimalism of the materials to the bold silhouette, a pair of CGW No. 1 are truly something special. To us, every detail matters.
